Zauber Woodworks manufactures custom one-piece MDF/HDF cabinet doors, drawer fronts and matching custom panels (end panels, island backs, wainscot and refrigerator panels). Every piece is CNC-machined from a single panel, to exact customer sizes, in Danbury, Connecticut. There are no rail-and-stile seams to open up or telegraph through paint.

3/4" HDF, 1" HDF, and 7/8" MEDEX, a moisture-resistant MDF panel. All are paint grade.
Finish
Sanded (paint-ready, not finished), primed (ready for topcoat), or painted: finished white, satin sheen, lacquer-base paint.
Sizes
Any size to 1/16". Send finished sizes, or cabinet opening sizes plus the deduction you want.
Drawer fronts
Machined in the same profile as the doors, so a whole run matches.
Custom panels
Laid out in the Door App: you set each stile and rail width and add center stiles and rails, and every field is cut as drawn. No extra charge for the layout; a custom panel is priced by the square foot at the same rate as a door in the same style and thickness.
Trade only. We sell to cabinet shops, millwork companies, closet companies, remodelers, contractors and refacers. We do not sell to homeowners or to the public, and we never sell directly to your clients: your customer stays yours. One-off orders are welcome, with no minimum quantity and no account required.
Pricing
Prices are per billed square foot. Billed square feet are the true cut size plus a 10% material waste factor on every line. The rate is set by the true square footage of the whole order.

Primed: add $3.77 per billed sq ft. Painted (white, satin sheen): add $10.50 per billed sq ft. Sanded: no extra charge.
Flat slab: $14.00 per billed sq ft at any order size.
Glass-ready doors: $25 per glass door.
Custom panel layout: no charge.
Near each break, the doors subtotal is capped at what the smallest order in the next band would cost, so an order just under a break never costs more than one just over it.
$175 minimum order charge on the doors subtotal; no minimum quantity. Delivery is charged on top and never counts toward the minimum.
Lead time
Typical production is 3–5 business days from order confirmation. Lead times are estimates, not guarantees. Rush service is sometimes available when scheduling allows; there is no rush option in the order form, so call (203) 947-9323 before you order.
Up to about one hour from Danbury: Fairfield, New Haven and Litchfield counties in Connecticut, and into Westchester and Putnam counties, New York.
Delivery fee
Offered on doors subtotals of $750 or more: $110 for $750–$1,199.99, and $55 at $1,200 or more. Orders under $750 in the delivery area are pickup only.
Outside the area
We ship by UPS Ground. We charge a $110 shipping fee up front, which is applied to the UPS cost; any remaining balance is billed as an extra delivery charge once the order is weighed. Email the shipping address to info@zauberwoodworks.com or call (203) 947-9323 when you order.
On site
Delivery is curbside or to an agreed point on site. We do not carry goods into a building, and we do not install.
How to order
Zauber Door App: enter a cut list directly, calculate door sizes from cabinet openings, design a cabinet face band by band, lay out custom panels, or scan a photo of a handwritten list and the app reads the sizes in.
Wholesale account holders sign in and see live pricing as they build an order. Without an account, choose "Continue without pricing", place an order or an estimate, and we email a quote, usually within one business day.
Cut lists and drawings can be attached: PDF, images, Word and Excel files, and DXF/DWG. Working from Mozaik, CAD/DXF or a plain cut list is fine.
Trade account: apply here; we typically respond within one business day.
Payment and tax
Quotations are valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise.
Invoices are due on receipt unless terms are agreed in writing.
Estimates and orders can be approved and paid online with a card.
Prices exclude sales tax. Trade sales for resale are exempt with a valid resale certificate.
Remakes and claims
If we got it wrong, we fix it. We remake or credit, at no charge, any piece that does not match the confirmed order (dimensions, profile, material, thickness or finish), has a manufacturing defect, or is short or damaged on our own delivery. A remake is done as a priority job. Claims must reach us within five business days of collection or delivery. We machine to the sizes you give us, so pieces cut to sizes you supplied that turn out to be wrong are not a remake claim. Full terms: refund policy.
Material limits
HDF is not waterproof, and is not suitable for continuously wet locations or for exterior use. Doors are paint grade only.
