What we collect when you order from us, why we collect it, and who else sees it. We sell only to the trade, so nearly everything here concerns business contact details rather than personal data.
Zauber Woodworks, LLC, 11 Precision Rd, Danbury, CT 06810. We manufacture cabinet doors, drawer fronts and panels on a wholesale, trade-only basis. You can reach us at info@zauberwoodworks.com or (203) 947-9323, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
This policy covers zauberwoodworks.com, including the online door designer and the trade account area.
Account and contact details. Your name, company name, email address, telephone number and ZIP code when you request a trade account or place an order.
Order details. The dimensions, profiles, materials and finishes you specify, along with job names, purchase order references and any notes you add to a line.
Files you send us. Drawings, photographs of handwritten lists, sketches, spreadsheets and PDFs you attach to an order.
Payment information. Card and bank details are handled entirely by our payment processor on their own secure pages. We never see, receive or store your card number.
Technical information. We record the IP address an order was submitted from. Your browser also stores your sign-in and an in-progress order locally on your own device so you do not lose work; that data stays on your device and you can clear it at any time.
We do not use your information to build profiles for advertising, and we do not sell it.
We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and share only what each one needs to do its job:
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose it where the law requires, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
We keep order records, including the dimensions and files attached to them, for as long as your account is active and afterwards for as long as we may reasonably need them — typically because you may reorder the same doors years later, and because tax and accounting rules require it.
If you would like your account closed and your contact details removed, write to us and we will do it. We may keep the underlying order and invoice records where we are required to.
The site is served over HTTPS. Files you upload are stored outside the public area of our server and can only be retrieved by our office after signing in; they are never given a public web address. Card details never reach our systems at all.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affects your information we will tell you.
Write to info@zauberwoodworks.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to stop receiving non-essential email. Order and invoice emails are part of the service and will continue while you have live orders.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The door app stores your sign-in and your in-progress order in your browser’s local storage so the list survives a reload. Clearing your browser data removes it.
We sell to businesses. The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting live accounts will be sent by email.
We would rather answer a question before an order than sort it out afterwards. Call the shop or send us an email.
